Study On The Development Of Dairy Industry In Inner Mongolia

China's entry into WTO together with the implement of the Western Development strategy creates great development opportunities for inner Mongolia animal husbandry, of which dairy industry is dominant it follows that making major efforts to develop dairy industry is beneficial to the adjustment of agricultural infrastructure, the increase of the farmers' income and the improvement of people's health.Through an analysis of the existing development situation of the dairy in Inner Mongolia and the whole country at large, his paper discusses the restricting factors of the dairy development in our region. The factors include the low amount of milk construction of milk source bases, the imperfection of the market system and the deterioration of the ecological environment.Form the practical condition of Inner Mongolia, the paper proposes the possible approaches to realizing the continuous, rapid and healthy development of the dairy industry in our region. It is advisable to focus on the cultivation and development of the leading dairy manufacture, making efforts to perfecting dairy bases and developing market. Meanwhile it is also indispensable to rely on proper policy, advanced science and technology and timely fund investment and well-organized service systems to achieve the goal.
