The foreign trade with the port city of the inland river is active day by day, it is an inevitable trend that containerized transport proportion rises constantly, So the inland river port should meet the demand for the containerized transport goods, strengthen the construction of the auxiliary facility in the port. Make it served local economic development better.This text have studied on domestic river containerized transport state of developments and inland river container of port goods the developments of handling capacity. That is on the basis of analysing that develops the current situation in domestic and international containerized transport. The article introduced foreign inland river containerized transport situation and our country main inland river of container development of ports, and then analysed influencing factors of my domestic river containerized transport. The centre part of the article is using and comparing of method that the turnover volume of container of port of the inland river predicts, and to predict of the handling capacity of the container of the following five years, ten years. Moreover some strategies and suggestions to the containerized transport of the inland river have been put forward .
