A Study On The Developmental Conception & Countermeasures To Speeding Up Industrialization Of Gansu Province

Industrial ization is not only an inevitable stage to a country or region, but also a force at core to the economic development and structure change. Facing to the chal lenge of economic globalization and knowledge economic, China entered WTO, carried out the west regions development strategy, and posed to fol low the new style industrial ization and construct a well-off society with Chinese characteristics completely in the 16* NPC. Those ex- and internal factors are a 11 the historical backgrounds of speeding up the course of industrialization in Gansu.With the start of industry modernization construction of China in 1949, the industrialization was also begun in Gansu, but the regional economic foundation was very poor; in addition, it was forced by the outer power梩he central government and mainly depended on its natural resources to carry out Gansu industrial ization in a Short period.
