As an emerging investment tools, the development history of the investment fund in China isn't very long. But it develops very rapidly. And it plays an important and unique role in transforming the individual save into social investment, raising the efficiency of making use of social capital and accelerating the establishment and consummating of the Social Security System. Nowadays, the development of China's investment funds has met with some difficulties. In order to have a better study on the current situation and problems of China's investment fund, in this article, I clarify the definition and introduce the distinguishing features and the classification of the investment fund in simple words. Then, in the Chapter Third and Chapter Four of this article, I analyze the present situation and the problems of China's investment fund in details.In my opinion, the following aspects should be paid more attention to during the course of developing China's investment fund. First, the construction of security market should be strengthened. And in order to lower the systematic risk of the market, we should deepen the market and raise the market's efficiency. Second, the investment fund market should be opened to the foreigners in order to introduce the advanced knowledge in managing investment funds and competition. Third, every investment fund should stick out it's characteristic to satisfy the different needs of investors. Fourth, promoting the creativity of the investment fund in order to betterthe anti-risk ability of the fund manager. Fifth, restructuring the trend of the development of the investment fund. At the last, the supervision and control and self-discipline of the investment fund both should be strengthened.
