Study Of International Operation Problems For DFSTW

Economy globalization is the trend of development of the world economy. Nowadays, it appears to be nationalization of the international market competition and internationalization of the competition in domestic market. Either the international or the domestic environment requires that Chinese enterprises should actively participate in the international operation in order to improve their competition abilities. Dongfang Steam Turbine Works(DFSTW), is a large key manufacturer in the field of power plant's units and auxiliaries relating to national security, economy and people's livelihood. It's practically significant to research on how to seize an opportunity to develop and actively participate in the international competition under the circumstances of economic globalization and competition internationalization. This thesis is based on the review of the theory of the international operation and the analysis of the competitive environment faced by DFSTW. It puts forward a strategy of the international operation and proposes that DFSTW should take some measures to realize the strategy.The thesis also raises that Learning, Cooperation and Competition are correct strategies, and the adjustment for organization structure and personnel training are the important guaranteed measures for DFSTW's international operation. The study result of the thesis is valuable to DFSTW's decision makers and other machinery manufacturing enterprises for reference.
