Jiangyou Industrial Economy Development Problems And Solutions Research

This paper intends to explain the problems arising in the development of Jiangyou industrial economy. To this end, this paper analyzes the circumstances of the industrial development, overall competitive forces of the industry, and competitive forces of the industrial structure of Jiangyou. Consequently, this paper presents some solutions to the problems of Jiangyou with the hope to contribute to the development of Jiangyou's industrial economy and the attainment of the strategy of "Booming Jiangyou through Industry." The paper has adopted such research approaches as SWOT, statistics analysis to present, analyze, and solve the problem. With these approaches, this paper analyzes the status quo of the industrial development of Jiangyou concerning opportunities,threats, advantages,and weaknesses, competition of the whole industry, especially the competition in terms of the industrial structure.Results of the Research: This paper proposes two matrixes-one is the external matrix EFE and the other is the internal matrix IFE. With these matrixes, this paper analyzes the opportunity, threat, advantage, weakness in the development of Jiangyou industry one by one. In addition, SWOT is used to analyze the circumstances under which Jiangyou develops its industrial economy, on basis of which a conclusion is reached. Besides, this paper presents an evaluation system consisting of such measures as market influence, industrial growth,resource allocation andindustrial invention. Also presented in this paper is a three-dimension model involving the market growth rate, share of the industry, and contribution rate of the industry. Five major cities within the economic circles-Chengdu, Deyang, Mianyang, Leshan, and Zigong-are chosen with their industrial development data from 1992 to 2001 so that they are compared and contrasted with Jiangyou. Conclusions: Jiangyou is blessed with many opportunities and advantages in the development of its industry. On the other hand, it is faced with some threats and weaknesses. Jiangyou is behind others in terms of innovative ideas, weak in the overall competitive forces of the industry and its market influential power of the industry, slow in the growth of its industry, poor in the resource allocation,insufficient in innovation, low in the competitive capacity of the industrial structure, improper in the industrial structure, slow in the development of medium- and small-enterprises, and inadequate in the development of non-public economy. In order to solve the problems, some measures are presented in the article, such as liberating thoughts,making good environment, trying to adjust the industrious structure, developing local special industry, making reasonable industrial system, taking an advantage of the main industry, making efforts to foster advantageous corporations,making a development of medium- and small-enterprises quickly, trying to develop non-public economy, implementing the strategy of famous brands, improve the quality of industrial development, effecting the innovation strategy, motivating invention in industry and encouraging industrial innovation of Jiangyou.Innovations of the Research: This paper proposes two matrixes and two math models, analyzes the development of Jiangyou's industry.
