Leisure And Recreation Study Of KunMing

Along with the development of society, it became much evident that leisure play a very important role in people's daily life. Leisure doesn't mean a period of time after work, and also not having nothing to do. Leisure is a state of living which closely connected to people's life quality. The study of leisure must deal with sociology, economics, city planning, landscape design. The increase of free time, more awareness of citizen gradually broke the traditional living form. The lack of leisure time as well as unable to send free time actively both contributed to the unhealthy development of society. Now, the studies of leisure are still sporadic, mainly focused on introduction of foreign studies, the theory system is still unformed. The lack of case study result in the blindness, unbalance of leisure activity development.Based on investigation and previous study, my article discussed the category, location of Kunming 's leisure activities and the need of citizen. This article include three part:1 Review of leisure study, discussed the system of leisure activities, relationship between leisure and city development, location of leisure activities.2 After the analysis of nature and culture characters, summarized the category of KunMing leisure activities. Study the location of Recreation Belt around Metropolis, leisure island in KunMing, and the activities in nearby towns and villages.3 From the need of citizen, studied the leisure space characters, behavior characters of KunMing people, the gap between people's desire and current situation.
