Performance And Evaluation Study Of ERP System For Enterprise

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP for short) indicates that the commercial conditions which the enterprises face have subjected to essential changes with the economic globalization, rapid development of IT technology, widely application of Internet and E-commerce. In the recent years, with the build-up and improvement of China's market economy system, the pressure of international competition is growing more and more severe facing the growing market competition and the customs' instant changing requirements. Therefore, modern enterprises have to make revolution of management ideas, reconstruction of management model and business process, renovation of management methods and change the traditional management model and improve management level according to introduce new management ideas and modern management methods so that they can earn competitive advantages in the market. Under the time setting, the application of ERP system becomes more and more popular in China. This paper fixes on Study on Enterprises Introduce ERP System as Achievement Evaluation Method as the thesis so as to help the enterprises make more comprehensive understanding about the structure of ERP system and its application advantages. Whereas, it is an important issue for urgent discussion that how to avoid the high failure rate of applying the ERP system.Several related reports have shown that many big enterprises made failure application or incomplete application of ERP system. After checking the reasons, this paper aims to pursue the source and discuss about the pre-preparation activities when applies the ERP system. When introduce the ERP system, the primal work the operators of the enterprise should do is checking all the related business process of the enterprise and do Process Reconstruction or Business Process Reengineering BPR. Besides, according to questionnaire method and the character of the enterprise, industry and scale sort, we find that the strategic reconstruction of the principal and subordinate structure and information system becomes important elements of helping the enterprise introduce the ERP system. Also in the paper, it has given detailed definition of what role the structure, information technology and information system should act when begins to introduce the ERP system. The study may be served as the reference when theenterprise introduces the ERP system.By introducing the ERP system, the operators of the enterprise can link all the departments of the enterprise, such as financing, produce, material management, quality control, sales and distribution, human resource management, etc.to realize departments and region spanning, conform work process and organize the interior personnel acquiring the related information of all the departments by Internet searching system within their right scope. Due to the vitrification and timely character of information, the operators of the enterprise can do instant response and make all the related information used for decision-making. By doing this, the crucial decisions of the enterprise can be supervised and assisted. It can reach the comprehensive effect of general integral planning, quick response and improvement of competition capacity.At the same time, the operators of the enterprise should decide whether introduce the ERP system or not after checking the practical conditions of the enterprise with the reference of the conclusion of this study. Only by doing this, it can avoid the incomplete or failure introduce.
