As one of the six important airlines in China, XH has 11 Boeing airlines and twenty-seven year safety flying records. It was awarded "security aviation unit" by Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) and Chongqing government for many times. It wins civil and foreign passengers' favor for excellent aviation quality and first-class service. By now it has safely transported 12 million passengers and plays an important role in economic development and opening up of Chongqing. However, In recent years, because global economy is uptight and operation cost increased sharply, the company is faced with embarrassment, In order to achieving profit, XH cries for reducing operation cost, improving service quality and enhance core competitive ability. Even if cabin supplies cost is lower than air equipment, it has larger room for reducing costs. The successful experience of other airlines in reducing cabin supplies just explains it.Implementing Supply Chain Management (SCM) and cooperating with copartner is one of the effective approaches in reducing SCM cost (channel cost). The aim to implementing SCM is to improve SCM service, increase copartners' earning and enhance the degree of copartners' satisfaction and clients' faithfulness. Good suppliers bring low cost and first-class products and services finally. Dealing with the partnership with suppliers properly and doing the suppliers' management well has important meaning for reducing cabin supplies cost and upgrading company's long-term competitive ability.Actualizing SCM has become impersonal request for XH. Purchase management is an important tache of SCM and Supplier management is the material exertion of SCM in supply domain. This thesis introduces the supply character, market condition and supplier management actuality of XH cabin supplies purchase briefly, brings forward the major problems in XH cabin supplies purchase. Using SCM thought and supplier management theories, it anatomizes the problems thoroughly. Learning from the advanced experiences of other airlines in cabin purchase area, integrating with the fact of XH and emphasizing the point of view of "Quality First" and the mechanism of "Win-Win" in its cabin supplier purchase process, it studies that how to assess, select, evaluate and promote suppliers, how to establish the strategic partnership with suppliers and how to manage suppliers of different products.According to the analysis of character and applicable scope of partnership, it points out that building "Win-Win" partnership is the practice and urgent affairs of carrying out SCM in XH. It brings forward a special viewpoint and solving plan, describing the present implementation effect and new perspective of carrying out SCM in XH further. It can be an important guidance of XH purchasing in future.
