At present, the informationization tide sweeps across the whole world. The developed country has already been in the industrialized stage . In our country, although modernization course has been already launched on a large scale, industrialization has not been finished yet. It is still the arduous historical task in the modernization course to realize industrialization. In the face of the challenges of the industrialization, the informationization and modernization, China must find a kind of new development model which results in development in all kinds of respects .On the basis of full consideration of Chinese actual conditions and international economy development trend, our country search after a industrialization road with Chinese characteristic by practice, and advance the concept "new industrialization road "on the CPC'S 16th National Congress.The new industrialization road means that industrialization is drived by informationzation and informationzation is promoted by industrialization. It is both opportunity and the challenge to China: The opportunity is that we can advance the informationization in the course of industrialization , thus we can exert advantages, realize the development of productivity and realize the upgrade of industrial structure and economy goal. The challenge is that the new industrialization road proposes high requires such as high science and technology, low resource consumption, little environmental pollution, taking full advantage of manpower resources .The evolution of the industrial structure is followed certain law , while it has particularity in condition of the new industrialization road at the same time . Some traditional industries still have great strategic meanings to industrialization and industrial structure adjustment of the developing country , the auto industry is the example . So it is rational and essential to choose the auto industry as Chinese leading industry.
