Study On Purchasing Management Of Leton Company Under Supply Chain Environment

With rapid progress of economy globalization and information technology, supply chain management (SCM) is a superior idea in the 21 century and its application is popular. As a starting point of product increment process, the focus on purchasing management is how to transform tradition modes into new modes to adapt to enterprise development under SCM.In order to combine theory with practice to solve purchasing management problems of Leton Company which is a research object in the paper and provide references for other similar enterprises, purchasing management for Leton Company is studied by the way of theory and demonstration.The research and development trends of supply chain are firstly introduced and the evolution of purchasing management and supplier management as well as material purchasing strategy and inventory control are expatiated. Moreover, based on the fact of Leton Company, the purchasing management problems are analyzed and feasible improvement measures are provided. First, the actuality of existing supplier management for Leton Company is studied and some problems are analyzed. Also, the necessity for applying jumped-up SRM (supplier relationship management) is demonstrated. For solving the above problems about supplier management, rudders and steps are established and concrete measures are planed. Second, material purchasing strategy and purchasing process are regarded as research matter. It is analyzed that ABC method is not suitable for material purchasing of the company at present and outdated purchasing process exists some defect. Meanwhile, it is demonstrated that taking corresponding differentmaterial strategies for different material under applying new purchasing strategy is important. In order to solve problems about lower purchasing efficiency of the company, new purchasing process is also designed. Third, the present problems about inventory controlling of Leton Company are point out, and inventory supplement and control measures are feasibly put forward. At last, suggestions are made in the conclusion for some problems likely encountered in the implement of new ways.
