The Application And Research Of Network Plan Trimming In Multiproject Management

The existing network planning technology mainly aims at the unitary network plan, so it is hard to guide the enforcement of many parallel projects efficiently. Nowadays IT enterprises, especially the majority of software enterprises, are faced with the problem of multiproject management. Enterprises make their project processes have universal similarities through carrying out such standard systems as ISO and CMM. In the course of enforcement, many projects maybe require plenty of the enterprise's crucial resources, especially the manpower resource, which brings the enterprise a baffling problem of multiproject progress management, resource optimization and risk controlling .This paper discusses the history and present situation of the development of network planning technology, generalizes every aspect of domestic and international network technological development and has a through research on network technology's existing problems such as the estimating problem of project duration limit, the problem of progress arrangement, the problem of resource allocation and risk analyzing problem. Based on it, this paper establishes multiproject trimming technology and conducts an applied study on the technology.This paper carries out the discussion mainly in network plan trimming model and levels. Taking the analysis of PERT model as a breakthrough, through the estimating problem of project duration, establishes a solution based on the trimming project to the resource balanced problem under the regular restraint of the project working term. Through the introduction of risk factors to affect matrix, the paper conducts an analysis of risk factors and the project correlation and produces an effective method of differentiating major risk factors. Combined network plan trimming algorithm with the tool of computer, the corresponding computer software is developed. Finally, take two specific ERP systematic development projects as examples, the paper has a research on the application of the technology of network plan trimming.The technology of network plan trimming can solve the multiproject management enterprises' problems of making working terms, estimating working terms, optimizing the project resources and identifying and controlling risks, which is of great significance both in theory and in practice.
