On Ethical Autonomy Of Trade

The trade is formed by corporations offering the same service and producing the same products. As a social organism, the trade has its own interests and ethical responsibility just like a person. In order to safeguard its own interests and qualify for survival in the society, the trade must manage oneself according to certain ethical norms. But the trade is not an independent body corporate, it can not be a behavior subject, neither does it have the capacity for responsibility, so the function of ethical autonomy usually is undertaken by the trade association which is a media organization representing trade interests. And the ethical autonomy of trade will finally be realized through each corporation's moral construction finally. So ethical autonomy of trade stated in this thesis refers to the supervision and management exerted by the trade association according to the codes of ethical for the purpose of protecting the whole interests of the trade.At present, a great deal of immoral behavior of corporations has already become the serious obstacle of social economic development. The main cause, which has caused to the current situation, is the lack of the just corporation moral environment stemming from the failure to manage corporation effectively. In this thesis the author thinks there are there main causes that result in the failure: First, the harborage of corporations immoral behavior of local protectionism. Second, the government is not familiar with the technology and management of corporations. Third, the law can only punish corporations in hindsight and its constraint is at high cost. But we can solve these three problems by the ethical autonomy of trade, in addition, the ethical autonomy of trade is a more effective corporation behavior management style because the behavior of corporations is closely related to the interests of the trade. So the thesis argues strengthening the ethical autonomy of trade can solve the problem of immoral behaviorof corporations, and try to analyze the possible routes to improve ethical autonomy of trade in our country by learning from foreign experiences.
