Transmission Planning In A Deregulated Environment

After the beginning of the reform of electricity supply industry, transmission planning becomes the major task of transmission companies. But the methods and content will be different with the past due to the uncertainties of investment, load and policies. This paper introduces some foreign experience and studies the methods of transmission planning in a deregulated environment. The analysis includes investment, planning methods and transmission pricing. The end of this thesis puts forward some useful suggestions for transmission planning in China's power market.
