Deng Xiao-ping's Contributions To The Theory Of CPC's Historiography In New Period

This dissertation has thrown light on the Deng Xiao-ping's contributions to the theory of CPC's historiography in new period. And there are five parts in the paper. The first part is the preface which has presented the theoretical foundation and the significance of researching. The second part of the paper retraces the tortuous history of the development of CPC historiography and Deng Xiao-ping's related recognition after the foundation of the new China. The third part is the principal part of the paper. There are three points: firstly, form the aspect of the subject's ontology, Deng-xiaoping rectified and developed subjects instructing theory, and revealed the laws of CPC's history in socialist period; secondly, from the subject epistemonogy, Deng Xiao-ping had his own viewpoints on the subject's function, researching emphases and historical stage; thirdly, form the subjects methodology, seeking truth form historical fact is the inner meaning of the subject's methodology. It includes the methods of respecting the realistic fact. The former suits for the subject's general researching and the latter suits for the study of the special problem in special historical stage. The fourth part of the paper reveals the reason why Deng Xiao-ping had such great contributions form the characteristics of the subject, the self-cultivation of Deng Xiao-ping and the special social and historical condition. The last part of the paper illustrates the impact of Deng Xiao-ping's contributions through investigating the historian's implement and research of CPC's historiography theory.
