A Study On Conglomerate Diversification Strategy Of Stock Corporation In Monopolistic Competition Market

On the basis of the combination of statistical and characteristic analysis method , this thesis has made a systematic, deep investigation into the conglomerate diversification strategy of stock corporation in ShangHai stock exchange. This thesis includes six chapters. Firstly, it briefly introduces the stock corporation has important influence to the development of domestic economy, and the reason why the stock corporation is studied in the monopolistic competition market. Secondly, it explains theories of enterprise strategy management. Thirdly, it mainly discusses the necessity and reason why the stock corporation is likely to apply the conglomerate diversification strategy. Then, it introduces the timetable in making diversification strategies of foreign and domestic enterprises according to enterprise life theory, and points out the difference between the foreign and domestic enterprises. Fifthly, based on the measuring organizational performance, the thesis makes the strategy evaluation to the stock corporation,s strategies. With the help of DuPond financial analysis method, it explains the difference of performance between the sample corporation and the whole market, and points that the sample is inferior to the market. During the course of the strategy deeds evaluation , it points out five key facts to ensure the success and the different results of strategy implementation. Finally , after evaluating the development strategy of stock corporation, the thesis discusses the common path to make and implement the conglomerate diversification strategy correctly. Based on the practical study result, this thesis maybe useful to the corporation who would implement the conglomerate diversification strategy.
