Study On The Formation In The Construction Of Huhhot Milk Source Base

With the rapid development of dairy industry in Hohhot, the total milk yield, dairy products, and the average quantity of milk consumed by urban residents in Hohhot has reached the first place in China. Dairy industry is becoming a main local financial resource, which bring along the increase of dairy farmer's income. However, there are some problems existed in the construction of milk resource base (e.g. low level of farmer's systematization, management and feed utilization, environment pollution etc.). All these problems will disturb the development of dairy industry of Hohhot in the future. Therefore it's necessary to find a way to solve the problem metioned above. Based on the analysis of the basic condition of milk resource base existed, three systematizations are suggested and evaluated in this article. Three forms of the organization on milk resource base are: standardized dairy cow raising area, dairy cows cooperative, and joint stock system. The common grounds among these three forms are that the level of farmer's systematization, contribution of scientific technology to dairy industry, dairy cow management, milk quality can be improved. This article also suggest that different unit should play different roles during the period of building the organization system of milk resource base. The original ideas of this article are: to enforce joint stock system in Hohhot and let the dairy farmers go in the leading enterprises-Yili and Mengniu. In addition, this article believes that milk resource base is the origin and key point of the development of dairy industry.
