It has been more than 80 years since Lippmann found Stereotype. National stereotype was all along one of focuses of correlative researches. In fact researches in this domain are rather further in West Country, but in our country the research on national stereotype is still very few. This thesis aims at exploring the stereotypes of adolescents on some nations or ethnics that are familiar to them.This thesis could be divided into four stages. At the stage 1, names of nations or ethnics were collected by open questionnaire. At the stage 2, another group of subjects tried their best to describe these nations or ethnics in adjective. And then 100 words that could most describe these nations or ethnics were selected with experts' auditing. At the stage 3,other subjects were demanded to allot every nation or ethnic a word that was most typical for the word. After data being rotated, 5 typical words for every nation or ethnic were received. At the final stage, a questionnaire was formed. The subjects in this stage were distributed in 9 schools, including 224 students in junior high school, 209 students in senior high school and 415 students in college. And then exploratory factor analysis was conducted on the 848 recalled valid questionnaires, from which 10 dimensionalities of national or ethnical stereotypes were extracted.The study found that national or ethnical stereotypes were multi-dimensional, including morality, fortune, attitude, reason, spice of life, complexion, style, the consciousness of organization sodality, appearance and androcentrism. Stereotypes were different for different nations or ethnics in different dimensions. Variance of grade affected the contents of stereotypes. Students in different grade level showed different stereotypes. Levels of grade presented no impact on Degree of love for China and Feeling of similitude to typical Chinese. The Feeling of similitude totypical Chinese was separate from the data by which subjects evaluate themselves and typical Chinese in every dimension. The Feeling of similitude was the best predictor for Degree of love for China. Moreover, the consciousness of nation identity had significant positive effect on Degree of love for China.
