Europe is the birthplace of conflicts law, American conflicts law is also very advanced, they have prominent positions in history of conflicts law in world and deeply effect the other countries. Therefore, researching on trend of convergence of American and European conflicts caw is beneficial to us to comprehend the basic direction of future conflicts law in world.At the very beginning, the article reviews three great exchanges of conflicts law in the past. Because of different social interest and political require, America and Europe form two different versions of conflicts law: European conflicts law for international conflict cases and American conflicts law for federal union's conflict cases. However, with the strengthening trend of global economy and regional economy integration, America starts to look for international conflicts law to respond to the new problem of global economy, while Europe require regional conflicts law to suit the new development of European union's integration. In such circumstances, America and Europe begin to study and exchange each other again. They start to converge gradually. No doubt this phenomenon will benefit for the development and perfection of conflicts law of China.
