Career role exchange of residents in nationality regions is a significance problem. It is a cross point of tourism economy and ethnology economy. The thesis mainly discusses the problem that what career role exchange may be after tourism developments have been made in nationality regions, points out the main factors that affect career role exchange and make analyses step by step. The four typical cases in the thesis are chosen from GuangXi. GuangXi is a multi-national area where many nationalities live .Within it many national autonomy counties are growing tourism vigorously, such as RongShui Miaozu autonomy county, JinXiu Yaozu autonomy county and DongbaFeng region. Level of career role exchange of residents can be areference index that studies the level of tourism development and of participating in tourism of residents. It has immediate significance to study tourism in national regions.The thesis use not only the combination of empirical analysis and normative analysis, but also one-by-one interview and vertical comparative analysis. Firstly, it chooses four typical national tourism regions, makes detailed analysis on them. Then, it compares history and present situation of their own, and points out the factors which affect career role exchange of residents. In the end, the author try to give out preliminary measures.
