| As we know, the automobile industry has very important positions in national economy,and the level of the automobile industry is the important sign of weighing a national economic development level. The level of its international competition, not merely determine the influence in the international market of automobile industry, but also the development speed , quality of a great deal industries in a country's national economy. In view of that the weakness of the international competition in our country's automobile industry in this thesis, we regard development course of the international competition of Japanese automobile industry as the research object, make every effort to find the experience, lesson that can be used for reference from it, put forward some suggestions for the improvement of the international competition of automobile industry in our country.The thesis is consisted of three parts mainly. First part, industry's international competition theory, which has introduced the concept of industry's international competition and the relevant theory.What is called international competition, is the productivity that one country's specific industry reflects through selling its products in the international market.For difference of industry competition establish foundation of international division, the international competition which one country has in a certain industry is reflected directly by the flow of international trade, and gets indirect measurement by it. And backward immature industry of country can develop through the support of the state policies. The domestic economy environment of one country has heavy influence on the enterprise to develop it's own competitive power, among them the most influential and direct factors are the following four items: Factor of production, demand factor, relevant support industry, enterprise's strategy and institutional framework . They are the most important sources of industry's international competition. In addition, specific national culture has a great extent to determine the organization way of a national economic life, thus determined the efficiency and speed of economic development.Second part, the analyses in the international competition development of Japanese automobile industry, have probed into the international competition development course of Japanese automobile industry and origin cause of formation.The automobile industry is one of the industries which the Japanese government develops especially. At the beginning of the fifties of the 20th century, the automobile industry of Japan was in small scale, there were many enterprises while weak in study development ability and unable to contend with U.S.A. at all. However, under the protection, fostering, promoting of Japanese government's industrial policy, the automobile enterprise of Japan are strengthening constantly, the automobile industry is from weak to strong, and occupy one seat in the market competition of the international automobile industry.Success of the international competition of Japanese automobile industry was facilitated together by the multiple factor. Among them, in international environment, the fast-developing international trade, the unusually activeness of the international investment, and international technological transformation offer the shortcut to offer the favorable condition for recovery of Japan's economy and promotion of the industry. In policy environment, international trade, international direct investment and international technological transformation and other domestic policies of Japan have issue a lot of corresponding industrial policies, which has accelerated the process of automobile industry's to obtain international competition. In managing environment, the Japanese automobile industries are both relatively arrange steadily in managing system and group system.
