This dissertation is based on a great deal of literature and research. It is adopted prompting theory and applied the theory and reality related method, quantity and quality analysis method. Focusing on the fact of Northeast Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Company(NPPE), the author designed a staff prompting system in terms of physical and psychic aspectThe dissertation expatiated on prompting theory and its development It also introduced the trend of applying prompting theory. Those researches provided an academic basic for designing prompting system for NPPE. It analyzed existing problem of the current prompting system, such as the singleness of the current prompting system, using same prompting method for different type of worker, unbending of prompt applying and unfairness inside admeasurements, based on identifying NPPE's situation and its current prompting system.In the process of designing an effective prompting system for NPPE, the dissertation discussed the physical aspect of prompting system in terms of stock prompting and salary prompting, designed a salary prompting scheme for managerial staff, technical staff and operational staff. Based on the theory of marginal utility degression in terms of salary and prompting theory, the principle of psychic prompting has been ensured. Consulting industrial and other company's prompting system, and based on the principle of psychic prompting, psychic prompting system, which shapes an individual and effective psychic prompting scheme in allusion to different staff for NPPE, has been established respectively for managerial post, technical post and operational post in allusion to behavior characteristic in different type of worker.In order to assure the effective implementation of NPPE's promptingsystem, the dissertation discussed the problems which should be adverted, idiographic measures and suggestions in case to ensuring the effective implementation of prompting system for the company from four aspects which is actualization of effect examination, establishment of canonical prompting system, rigorousness of execution, attention of communication and propaganda.
