Tibetis one of the regions that possesses the richest natural resources in China ,but its eco-environment is fragile ,and its economic development is so far still backward.This article holds that in order to protect and improve eco-environment,to to get rid of poverty and backwardness,and become prosperous,it is necessary to change the patterns of traditional industrial development,totake to take the way for development distinctive economy to strive to accomplish resourcefuliation, characterization of industries, to ensure benign circulation of the unique plateau ecosystems,to exploit rationally the plentiful resources,and to speed up development of the Tibet distinctive economy.The research of regional distinctive economy is a new visual angle of the research of regional economy,There is momentous current and specific theoretical significance .In this article with comprehensively studying the current situation,advantages in dustry of agriculture ,tourism,Tibet's drug industry in Tibet and its role in Tibetan economy.The paper looks into it is key point for Tibet development to make resources preponderance turn into economic preponderance by using the superior and distinctive resources to develop distinctive industrial and economy.Attaching importance to the characteristic industry is a new train of thought to perfect the economic structure.Fully developing the characteristic economy with the distinctive industry as its core is an inevitable choice.
