Strategic Management is playing more and more important role in the corporatemanagement. It is the beacon for the company development and also is a bridge builtfor the success. Followed the policy of opening to the outside world and the reformsof market economy, the middle scale and little scale company has a progressivegrowth in China, either in the quantity or in the proportion of GDP. Compared withthe large scale enterprises, the middle and little scale companies have the advantagesof fewer departments, less clerks, easy management and high market flexibility. Butas the increasing market competitive, they have to face the problem of how to surviveand how to make development. And the leaders or owners of the little scalecompanies have to take serious about the management. So, just like the big enterprises,the middle scale and little scale companies also need the strategic management. This article is doing a research for the strategic management based on the studyof Chang Sheng Machine Tools Manufacturing Co., Ltd., a small company in Tianjin.In this article, we have analyzed the outer environments, inner environments, strategicelements, strategic project and the implement. Through the scientific and systematicstudy, we have got the conclusion for the flaw and good experiences in ChangSheng's strategic management. After the study on the strategic management of Chang Sheng, we will find outthe problems that the little companies are facing, and also from real action of ChangSheng Co., Ltd. We can see the answers. Suitable strategic management is based onthe correct analysis on both outside and inside company environments, to make use ofopportunities and advantages and avoid the disadvantages and threats; also it needsthe correct implement.
