Study On The Problem On The Agricultural Technology Extension And Countermeasure

We have acquired quiet great progress in agricultural technology extension and built up the agricultural technology extension system since our country's foundation. The government extension system is the main body of agricultural technology extension system participated by agricultural scientific research department, farmer cooperate organization, supply and marking assn, enterprise and the multitude organization sodality. The agricultural technology extension has made important contribution to the agricultural development. When confronted with economic globalization, participated in WTO and the agricultural new technology revolution, problems exited in the agricultural technology system emerged gradually, such as illogicality in extension organization setting, irrelevancy in orientation, limitation in system, scarcity of financing, separation of extension, scientific research and education, laggard conception etc. Therefor, the experimental task of agricultural technology system reform was started from 2002.Experience gained from the experimental task will benefit the reform to be carried out nationwidely.In the next agricultural technology system reform, three point should be given enough attention as we suggest: 1. build up the peasantry oriented concept understand their requirement, respect their aspiration, satisfy their need for agricultural technology.2.stabilize the agricultural technology extension organization, midwifery agriculture enterprise, increase agricultural technology carrier, expand the agricultural technology extension troop.3.push the construction of agricultural technology extension informationization strugglingly.
