Information appliances (for short IA, also be named as net appliances or digital appliances) are home appliances that apply computer digital technology, information processing technology and modernized communication technology into traditional home appliances, thereby make them into the multifunction home-info-terminal that have the functions such as seeing and hearing, info- processing, net-communicating reciprocally and so on. Along with the development of home networking and information systems, IA will become the consuming mainstream of home appliances gradually. This paper's main work consists in two aspects: one is to analyze and forecast the market development trend of IA qualitatively and give a quantitative analysis; the other is to analyze the channels selecting of IA in its different phase of lifecycle.This paper includes four chapters. Chapter 1 started with introduction. First introduce the motivation and the main content of this paper, then to introduce the status in quo of prior academic research on IA and its correlation theory. Finally introduce the highlights and the innovation of the paper. Chapter 2 is the market analysis on IA. At the first, give a definition on IA, and simply introduce the develop course and the peculiarities of IA. Secondly, analyze and synthesize the market status and circumstance of IA home and oversea. Base upon this, to forecast the develop trend on market demand of IA, not only with qualitative way, but also with a quantitative way, namely the Logit Combing Forecast Model on market development trend. At the last, give the opinion and advice on the IA's marketing strategy of myself, emphasizing to upbuild the characteristic marketing channel for IA. Chapter 3 is marketing channels selecting strategy. Because the marketing channel's pivotal function consist in helping products into goal market efficiently all the more, this chapter ultimately assume a layout scheme for IA's marketing channels strategy, through a elaborate analysis on the crucial factors which decide and influence the IA's marketing channels selecting. Chapter 4 concretely contrives the marketing channels strategy for IA. Firstly analyze the advantages and inevitability to selectdirect marketing channels at the initial stages of IA, at the importance, giving the idea of the Serving Distribution using the e-channels; Then excavate and sum up the factors, evaluate standard and selecting method if adopt indirect marketing channels, extraordinary, using a quantitative method as the Fuzzy Synthesize Evaluation Method to select middlemen.
