Research On CPC's Strategic Theory Of Political Development Since The Fourth Plenary Session Of The Thirteenth Central Committee

Content: At the Sixteenth National Congress of the CPC, Developing socialist democracy and establishing a socialist political civilization was put forward. It embodies our country's strategic theory of political development, especially is the experience through our new practice of reform and opening up since the Fourth Plenary Session of the Thirteenth Central Committee under the leadership of the core of the third generation of leading group, Jiang Zhe Min on the basis of summarizing the experience of socialist revolution and construction. Today, The growing trends toward world multipolarization and economic globalization with rapid development of modern science and technology have brought with them severe competition of overall national strength. Comrade Jiang zhe ming put forward that overall national strength is the sum of one nation's strength, including such elements as economy capabilities, science and technology capabilities, national defense capabilities, cohesion of a nation and so on, besides including politics capabilities, diplomacy capabilities and other elements. The development of a socialist political civilization is not only benefit to strengthen the national politics capabilities but also to increase other capabilities and overall national strength of the whole nation.At the Sixteenth National Congress of the CPC, Developing socialist democracy and establishing a socialist political civilization are established as an important goal for building socialist modernization and a well-off society in an all-round way. The objectives set by our party for building a well-off society in an all-round way are objectives of comprehensive economic, political and cultural development of socialism with Chinese characteristics, objectives well geared to the efforts to speed up modernization. Building a well-off society in an all-round way includes not only material and spiritual civilization development, but also the establishment of a socialist political civilization, and the three parts should be interconnected with each other. Only by propelling the development of material and spiritual civilization and make them develop hormonally, should we further develop the economy, improve democracy, advance science and education, enrich culture, foster social harmony and upgrade the texture of life for the people and the goal for building a well-off society in an all-round way can be realized indeed.In the new period, it has important theoretical and practical significance to go on steadily and surely with political restructuring, further improve our national political system, strengthen and improve Party Building, propel the speed of well-off society in an all-round way.
