Since the 1970s,Financial strucuture has underwritten two great changes:one is that the role of commercial bank in the financial system has relatively declined in some industrized countries.another is financial market esp,capital market is developing rapidly,upgrading its role in the financial system.All theses changes has resulted in some international experts worry about the future development of commercial bank.In the article ,the author think it is inevitable for declining role of commercial bank and upgrading role of capital market in the modern financial system.but it doesn't mean commercial bank will disappear from the earth .On the contract,if the commercial bank can make full use of the capital and take hold of the chance ,it will get the new development space.so the author put forward clearly that the co-operation between commercial bank and capital market is a strategic choice for the commercial bank's future development,it put the co-operation on to a high theorical level.In order to survive and develop commercial bank must take the capital market as a platform .improving the co-operation between commercial bank and capital market to improve the ability of financial innovation and enhance its own competitiveness.This thesis is composed of three four parts. In the first part ,it put forward the question, it explores the challenges brought about by capital market to the commercial banks,and analyzes the prospect of commercial bank in the crisis.
