Economic Globalization Development Trend And Chinese Strategic Option

As a most striking trend of the world economy, economic globalization is also a trend of all countries in the world opening themselves to the outside world. Now, the trend of economic globalization is more than what is seemed of that day. Economic globalization has been growing more quickly and developing more widely since 1990. No more phenomenon has been much noticed than economic globalization. It is so called a leading role in world economy. Today, most countries and areas joined the economic integrated organization, which made the trend global. Facing this trend, what steps should China take in opening to the outside world? How should China take as much as possible considerations in foreign trade,investment and finance? It is urgent that we should chose the best strategy to cope with the challenge of economic globalization. This thesis will discuss the related questions of economic globalization in our country and put forward countermeasures.There are four parts in this thesis.The first part of the thesis introduces the connotation of economic globalization, its development and its new characteristics. The part mainly analyses the relationship of economic globalization and economic integration. To my opinion,Globalization and integration are all special scientific concepts of world economy. They all have their respective characteristics. They produce a strong force and promote the development of the world economy together.The second part of the thesis analyses the trends of economic globalization. I focuse mainly on the trends and the effects of economic globalization. The international trades get more and more free. Service trade and technology trade are rising. As high and new technologies are widely used in production, and international corporations grow stronger, worldwide competition become tenser and tenser in the process of worldwide economy globalization. In this case, for developing, worldwide exchanging among nations are become frequent. Competition and exchanges among enterprises promote the progress of technologies and the development of management objectively.The third part of the thesis dissects the contributions and problems of economic globalization in our country. I mainly discusse the contributions of economic globalization, especially in foreign trade, investment and financial globalization. Now, the scale and amount of the foreign investments expanded very fast. Great changes have been taken in the form of the foreign investment. Instead of the foreign loans, the foreign direct investments have been the main form of the absorbing foreign capital of China. Besides, this part also analyses various problems of economic globalization in our country. With the development of economic globalization, our country's economy has developed very quickly, which reduces the distance between China and developed countries. About this, the part gives reasonable analysis.In the last part, I propose some advice on how to solve the problems of economic globalization in China. I suggest China should settle seven problems in order to adapt to world economic globalization. It is the core of the thesis.
