Mindray Company Patient Monitor Business Development Stratgic Research

Nowadays, strategic management makes the real heart of corporate development. With the cutthroat competition, a corporation has to live not only on its strength, but on strategies as well .In general, how to make the corporation step forward mainly depends on its strategic management and leadership navigation. As a heading shareholding company in producing patient monitor, How to enlarge superiority on the basis of present condition and give priority to its development strategy is most important for Mindray.The author, for half a year at work, has collected a great deal of data and investigated interior and exterior environment. On the basis of this information as well as by capitalizing on theory of strategic management, marketing management and corporate management, the author makes analysis and gets the conclusion about patient monitor developing strategy.This paper is divided into six chapters. Firstly, it introduces the current situation of patient monitor of Mindray, and analyzes the exterior environment by macro-environment analysis coupled with five competitive forces, meanwhile, describes interior environment of patient monitor at large such as its organization, various resources , services and financial situation. The corporate mission and strategic goal is clearly defined and SWOT analysis is made. Compared with various strategies as the cost leadership, the differentiation strategy, the service-innovation strategy, and the product development strategy. The corporation selects differentiation strategy and marketing leadership strategy at last. This paper also focus on how to implement the differentiation strategy and marketing leadership strategy, and proposes corresponding measures for the possible risks cropping up in the course of execution. And some suggestions have been given on how to carry out the preferred strategy mentioned above.
