Agriculture Sustainable Research Of Mountain Area Of Western Sichuan Basin

Agriculture is the basic industry of national economy, its producing procedure has direct relation with nature resource and does effect on environment. Whether it can be sustainable or not directly shows sustainable degree of resource, nature and zoology. So the sustainable development is closely related to agricultural production and development from the moment it was breed to its formal establishment. Mountain area of western SiChuan basin is located in the main zoology barrier of upper Changjiang river, her environment is important to economy and society sustainable development of itself and whole Changjiang river.This paper starts with discussion on the meaning, content, character and academic principle of agricultural sustainable development. As a conclusion it must be joint development of ecological environment, agricultural economy and rural society. On mis basis, analysis is made by settomg up an index system of agricultural sustainable development for mountain area of western SiChuan basin, also evaluates on it. It lies in middle level of sustainable development and still need to improve. The reason is pointed out that the major limitations of sustainable agricultural development in mountain area of western SiChuan basin are non-proper agricultural structure, underdeveloped agricultural facilities, lagged scientific broadcasting system and lower labor resource development. In accordance with the limitations and by making good use of the advantages of agricultural development in mountain area of western SiChuan basin, this paper proposes strategies and countermeasures, which includes: to increase the agricultural investment; to adopt measures to promote agriculture by applying scientific and technological advances so as to increase the science and technology content of agricultural products; to advance farmer's culture stuff; to build up guarantee mechanism of area agriculture sustainable development and to design agriculture sustainable development model that is suitable to mountain area of western SiChuan basin...
