Business Analysis And Development Study For Daqing Petroleum Administrative Bureau

With the trend of the globalization of world economy and the integration of international and domestic market, the oil industry is facing the serious challenge of existence and development. As the front-runner of Chinese oil industry, DPAB has experienced two big restructures in 1998 and in 1999, and the operational condition has changed dramatically. Adapting to the new situation and considering the sustainable development strategy, this paper systematically analyzed the external operational environment and internal factors of DPAB aiming at the currently unreasonable business structure and unclear competitive advantage. This paper profoundly studied the impact of industry character, target market, competitor and material supply on the business.Based on the business evaluation and optional selection of DPAB through the AHP method, this paper analyzed and predicted the economic benefit and risk for the all kinds of business in the next eight years utilizing the Monte Carlo Method. Referring to the development model of foreign petroleum technical service corporations and combined with the calculation results of AHP and Monte Carlo Method, this paper selected and determined the business that should be rapidly developed, steadily developed, restrictedly developed or quit. This paper also put forward the useful suggestions and measures for the future development of all kinds of business. The study of this paper is closely combined with the practical operation of DPAB, which plays the reference role for the petroleum enterprise.
