With the increasing trend of globalization and competition, many companies failed to pull through the changing environment in the new era. How to adapt to these challenges after China's entry into WTO, and gain success become vital problems facing Chinese managers and scholars.Corporate Reengineering theory provides us with powerful tools. It is one of the main topics in managerial area since 1990's. Research work in this area benefits a lot to the management of company and the development of society.In this thesis, Corporate-Reengineering (CR) of Sichuan Mobile Communication Corporation (SCMCC) is studied from both theory and practice point of view. Firstly, it gives a general description of organization theories and the history of CR theory, pointing out that CR theory is inevitably to be applied in modern companies. New theories in system science and social-biology have also been used. Then, the author in-depth studies the practice of SCMCC, centering on CR. In the process of analysis, many managerial tools, like Porter's Strategy theory, Corporate Life Cycle, etc., are applied ,enable readers to understand CR concepts better. In the mean time, many cases, charts and data are quoted to draw objective viewpoints. Lastly, some advices of CR are given to the readers for further study and practice.
