Analysis Of The Gui-Vietnam Border Trade Since The Founding Of The People's Republic Of China

The mainstream of the current world is the peace and development, and the trend of theinternational economy is region and globalization. As an important regionality organization ofthe area of Southeast of Asia , the Association of Southeast Asian Nations has been keepingthe close trade contacts to China since it was established. As one of the member states ofAssociation of Southeast Asian Nations, Vietnam has become the important bridge betweenour country and the Associations because of its own special geograghical position. In 2003 ,the setting-up of ASEAN Free Trade Area makes Guangxi become the joint between Chinaand Asian Nations , and helps the Guangxi win the race opportunity and challenge in thehistory. And the border trade between Guangxi and Vietnam as the very important part of thetrade among the Southeast countries becomes more and more important. Therefore, the studyof the Gui-Vietnam border trade since the founding of the People's Republic ofChina(P.R.C) ,which has important realistic meaning for strengthening the economic andtechnological exchange and cooperate between China and Vietnam , for developing the westof China , and for promoting the regional peace and stability.The article uses the relevant theory of international trade, comparative historiography,exchangement of civilization and so on. Meanwhile, I also adopt comparatize analyticapproach and quantization analytic approach to study and analysis the trend and character ofthe border trade. In order to summarize the factors and historic affects and porder over thefuture development strategy and countermeasure.The article has four parts.The first part, I review the history of the Gui-Vietnam border trade since the founding of 3建国以来桂越边贸探析the P.R.C .According to important political event and its effects ,divide the history of theGui-Vietnam border trade into two stages , and the watershed was 1979 .In the first stage ,thedevelopment of the trade presents the wave crest .The trade forms are very single just involvethe people trade and protocal trade, and its character is limitation and the stractures of goodsis simple .In the second, the trade had been resumed gradually , and had developed at a highspeed . The main trade forms are the protocal trade, frontier travel trade , frontier economicand technological cooperation trade and so on. It appeared the characters such as the largescale , the diversified forms , the increasing of goods kind , the widen of trade limitection andforth.Second, inquire into the factors that effects the development of the Gui-Vietnam bordertrade. The political factors especially the relations changes between the two countriesinfluence its development seriously. When the relationship is peaceful and friendly , theborder trade rised by a large margen , on the countrary , it droped rapidly . The economicfactor, especially the changes of the economic principles and policies, was influencing thechanges , such as the form of border trade , volume of trade ,etc. .The traffic constructionpromoted the development of border trade, and the border trade was good to the developmentof traffic . And Sino-Vietnam generality , inhabitant of a border area of culture unite wedding ,overseas Chinese activity ,and so on, influenced the Gui-Vietnam border trade exceed thedevelopment of border trade too. From go to stated , it is obvious that the the Gui-Vietnamborder trade exceed border trade development and change with political factor change as mainshaft, by many kinds of resultant of forces of factors.The third part ,Analyse and summarizes the historical action of Gui-Vietnam border tradesince the founding of the P.R.C.
