Under the transformation of Chinese society, the professional associations have expanded with high speed, whose function of public administration has been concerned by the scholars and the practicers. Therefore, this article discussed the concept and features of professional associations, and the theoretic foundation on the birth of these organizations. In the second part, I analyzed the status of Chinese professional associations in the traditional administrative law, and reflected why they had been in existence. In consideration of the challenge of pubic administration against the traditional administrative law, control of power and protection of interests, the statue of professional associations in administrative law should be re-designed to become the main parts of pubic administration, and they should be guaranteed the position of administrative concerned person, which means great importance for the standardization and effect of Chinese professional associations. The professional associations' position of main parts in administrative law requires the protection of legal system, so the current law should be amended to effectively achieve this goal, the forth part is right about this.
