Study On Diversity And Harmonious Development In Guanzhong Urban Agglomerations

As the aggregates of cities, urban agglomerations are exerting more importance in international competition. In contrast with single city, the whole competition of urban agglomerations is stronger. Its development directly influences competitive superiority. While urban agglomerations are complicated and huge system, and consist of many cities. Every city inside which is relative independent is a subsystem. They are effected and restricted each other, and don't harmonize. They must be adjusted and harmonized all along, or the whole competition of urban agglomerations can't be advanced greatly.Taking urban agglomerations as a research object, we analyze their disharmony primarily. We try to find a way to promote their harmony, and want to offer some useful help to other urban agglomerations.Guanzhong urban agglomerations are only in primary phase at present and belong to miniature urban agglomerations. It confronts many difficulties, but it has also many opportunities and potentials at the same time. In this papet we study its bound and type firstly, then contrast it with the Yangtse River delta. By contrast, we find that there are immense disparities between Guanzhon and developed region. Looking on the inner diversity of Guanzhong urban agglomerations as a level of disharmony, we research it by statistic method. We find that the disparities trend to keep on enlarging. While this situation will bring a lot of social problems. By appraising the cities' integrative might, we find every city's location in urban agglomerations and divide five cities into three types. The disharmonies of Guanzhong urban agglomerations are mostly embodied in structure, industry, infrastructure, environment, policy and so on. They have many problems, includingthe irrational grade scale structure, homologous industrial structure, repeated constructing of infrastructure and so on. These problems badly restrict the harmonious development of urban agglomerations. At last, aiming at the inner diversity of Guanzhong urban agglomerations and disharmonies in every aspect, we put forward corresponding measures and advise.
