Development Of Regional Characteristic Agriculture

Since the reform and opening-up, especially after entering 1990s, regional characteristic agriculture has developed rapidly and become a new powerful growing point of agriculture and rural economic construction. Characteristic agriculture is a new-type agriculture developed in the transformation of traditional agriculture to modern agriculture. In this new round of adjustment of agricultural structure, how to develop regional characteristic agriculture and under the background of internationalization of agricultural competition, how to improve market competitiveness of characteristic agriculture in China has become a great subject in modern agricultural development. So this research chose the case of developing the river crab industry in Sihong County of Jiangsu Province, and uses industry chain theory to study cultivation of the river crab industry in Sihong County from analysis of technological diffusion chain, market sale chain and non-pollution cultivation.As far as the current situation of the river crab cultivation in Sihong County is concerned, in technological diffusion chain, because popularization system of aquatic technique is not perfect, the raisers' own cultural quality is low and their organization is dispersive, the channel for them to study technique is less and it is difficult for them to improve their technique. In market sale chain, the dispersive cultivation on a small scale, inferior quality of river crab and weak ability to process river crab influences the market sale and process of river crab. In non-pollution cultivation of river crab, Sihong County has good environmental advantage and social advantage, but raisers' consciousness and ability to develop non-pollution cultivation and dispersive cultivation on a small scale at present constrains the further development of non-pollution cultivation of river crab.On the basis of the above study, the relevant suggestion to cultivating of the river crab industry in Sihong County is put forward, which is improving the degree of the raisers' organization, structuring perfect technological diffusion chain and market sale chain and developing non-pollution cultivation unshakably.
