As the quickening of the international economic process of integration, the role of port in national economy and social development is increasingly important, and the management environment that port enterprises faced has changed greatly. The old management methods and thinking modes already can't adapt to the development of port enterprises. In this thesis, Chiwan container terminal Co., Ltd. (CCT) is analyzed systematic using qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis methods. The conclusions achieved might serve as references for relevant port departments.1. From the points of economic globalization, national economic and regional economic development, port trade development tendency, CCT's geographical position and hinterland economic situation, the outside strategic environment of CCT is analyzed systematically. And the inside strategic ability of CCT is also analyzed in detail from a lot of respects, such as physical resources, human resources, business state, etc. .2. The strengths and weaknesses that CCT has and the opportunities and threats that CCT faced are analyzed through Potter's " five force " model and SWOT analysis method. The dynamic characteristic of port enterprise and the value chain of CCT were also introduced simply.3. On the basis of qualitative analysis, the thesis uses many kinds of quantitative method to predict CCT's containerized transport demand and it status in the port group of Shenzhen.4. The development goals of CCT are proposes, and the concrete countermeasures and suggestion to the realization of the goals are put forward.
