Study On The Development Of China's Convention And Exhibition Industry

As the result of the economic and cultural development, convention and exhibition industry, which is affiliated to service industry, is being attached more and more attentions at domestic and abroad for its high regional economic and social effectiveness. Since 1990's, with the wideness of the open policy and the stable economic development, China's convention and exhibition industry develops rapidly and becomes a new highlight in national economy.However, this industry is immature as its development history in China isn't long enough and many problems thus exist. Especially in the transitional period of our economic system reform, these problems are still very serious and consist in many aspects such as management system, industrial layout, specialization, marketization and talents. To solve these problems to push the sustainable development of China's convention and exhibition industry, measures in institution and industry are necessary. With the basic theory and corresponding analytical methods, this thesis analyzed the current situation of China's convention and exhibition industry and problems in it, and, on the basis of this analysis, put forward corresponding ideas on its development. Under this framework, the thesis tried to make some illuminating exploration.
