Research On The Low-income Housing Of Cities

Now in China a drastic reformation of the present housing system has being carried out—the commercialization of housing. However, house of low-income people is a special commodity concerned with many social problems, even human rights. Therefore, after the housing welfare is cancelled, it is the key to find an appropriate way to solve the housing problem of the people with low-income. In this article the author analyses the sources and the development of the housing theory of the low-income people and the successful experience of various countries. Through this way the author expects to explore a wise project to solve this problem in China. Finally by using the theories of economics, sociology, behavior science, psychology, and so on, the author predicts the standards of the fairly well-off houses and an ideal residential model accustomed to the national conditions in the future days.
