Research On Influence And Countermeasures Of Chinese Aluminium Industry Restriction

This thesis thoroughly analyzes Chinese industrial structure of alumina and aluminum. It shows that Chinese alumina industry is typically double-oligarch monopolized market. Which not only has the characteristic of price production decision in oligarch monopolized enterprise, but also has the characteristic of high profits because of Price Chartel. And this thesis also reveals aluminium competitive strategies and influence of each other through Cournot Balance Model. Economics research points out that monopolization is harmful to industry and whole society. The monopolization of Chinese aluminium industry makes this harm, too.Afterwards, this thesis studies protection level of Chinese aluminum industry with the Effective Protection Theory and concludes that unreasonable tariff structure leads to low protection level, and this tariff and import quota even make disadvantage to Chinese aluminium industry. This thesis also concluded that the special tariff and import quota policy were founded on the basis of special market situation, and now disappearance of that situation has made that policy out-of-date.At last this thesis makes suggestions to Chinese aluminum on the basis of China aluminium industry analyzing, it suggests china break oligarch and develop overseas resources and strengthen the cooperation with surrounding countries, such as Japan and Korea S., etc. This thesis further suggests to adjust the overall arrangement of aluminium industry and priority development of aluminium industry with hydropower.
