Actively Explore The Way Of Future Development Of The Aluminium Extrusion Industry In China

An increasing tendency towards globalization nowadays and the incoming China's entry into WTO creates a lot of unprecedented opportunities and challenges for aluminum squeeze and industries of China .How to reduce the distinction quickly and others is a popular issue, which is being paid common attention by people. After almost 40-year development, China's aluminum squeeze can be listed as a big one in the world if the number of enterprises and aluminum squeeze machines plus production capability is counted. But it is not a strong one due to the lack of production of some high-tech aluminum squeeze and the less competitive products in the international markets. What makes people more worried is that: In the 5th leaders' informed meeting of APEC, the Chinese government has promised to reduce the average tariff of industrial products to 10% in 2005. The 10% tariff cannot protect China's enterprises any more. This is worse thing for the originally backward aluminum squeeze. As a MBA student from enterprises' management department, I think I should do my best to delve further into the way of aluminum squeeze development in the future. There is a good saying from Comrade Deng Xiaoping, "Only development is powerful principle." If China's aluminum squeeze cannot be extricated from a difficult position with increase for management and competitiveness in 5 years; it will be eliminated from the international markets. I try to make the following agreements through this paper:1. The traditional strategy of development, which makes capital as the core, cannot be suited to current economic environment that is supply is large the demand.2. Under the heated competition, it is new operation and demand measurements rather than diversified economy that pushes enterprises to grow. People can grasp and develop the potential competitive advantages and powers through continuous learning.3. The strategy of development for enterprise is charged from traditional production way to the way which can markets' needs better.4. Today's strategy is not an industry searching way but a way to pursue more competitive production to meet a specific need in a specific industry. The author discusses the problem of "Crisis of strategy" for the development of China's aluminum squeeze on the basis of real situation of the enterprises and put forward a framework of improving the whole industry in order to realize the sustainable development. The problem of "Crisis of strategy" is consequently solved for current aluminum squeeze.
