With knowledge-based economy ages coming, the influence of the high-tech industry to national economic real strength and international competitive advantage is important more and more. High-tech venture enterprises play an important role during promoting the development of the high-tech industry. In recent years, plenty of venture enterprises going bankrupt causes venture capital industry sinking into the low valley. One of the main reasons is that a lot of venture enterprises lack sustainable competitive advantage. Since most of venture enterprises belong to high-tech fields, the research is based on the sustainable competitive advantage of high-tech venture enterprises.Almost all of strategic management theories have researched on building sustainable competitive advantage from different viewpoints and got many important results. Especially, the Industrial Organization View and the Resource-Based View made important contribution to the researched field. The industrial organization theory and the Resource-Based View have different applicability, because based on different researching standpoints. This paper tries to analyze sustainable advantage from more completely viewpoint. That is, this paper absorbs the core thought of the industrial organization theory and the Resource-Based View, explains the meaning and sources by dissipative structure theory, and provides a new method to research sustainable competitive advantage. This part is the core researched content.This paper put forward that sustainable competitive advantage stems from enterprise inside and outside environments and the key factors that influence sustainable competitive advantage of high-tech venture enterprises are heterogeneous resources, distinctive competences, technical innovation, industrial environment and venture capital. If high-tech venture enterprises can keep these key factors heterogeneous resources, distinctive competences, technical innovation optimizing or renewing to reduce inside waste, improve the order of enterprises, absorb negative entropy flows and dare to reform, competitive advantage may realize dynamic equilibrium and develop constantly. In addition, the five key factors should keep in order and harmonize with each other.In order to help high-tech venture enterprises to establish competitive strategy, this paper establish two models. The outside dimension model is formed through referring to the five competitive force model of Dr. Michael Porter and used to analyze the interaction between environment and high-tech venture enterprises. The other model is used to evaluate how strong sustainable competitive advantage high-tech venture enterprises is. Through analyzing the two models, we can research the whole condition of sustainable competitive advantage, find out advantageous and disadvantageous factors, and then set down relevant competitive strategy.
