The Analysis On The Technological Innovation Of STFs

Since the reform and opening of China, small technology-based firms(STFs) have been blooming rapidly in the country. With the unmatchable superiority in innovation mechanism and effectiveness to other business enterprises, these STFs have become a major carrier of the transformation of scientific research achievements and the realization of technology innovations. Furthermore, STFs have proved to be an important source for the national economic growth. But in the meantime, it has to be stated that there still exist a lot of difficulties in the development of these STFs. These difficulties have a negative effect on the innovation effectiveness of STFs.This paper, firstly, summarizes the relative theories of technological innovation of STFs. It especially discusses the contribution that Scherer and Acs have made to the development of theories about technological innovation of STFs.Secondly, the author explains the whole picture characteristic strategies of different phase strategies of technological innovation technological innovation process ways of technological innovation of STFs in detail.Then, the author especially discusses the mechanism of technological innovation of STFs. Also the author analyse in depth the relationship between the scale of enterprise diversity of product and technological innovation, and points out that STFs bears special advantage in technological innovation. On base of these, the author analyses the motivation for technological innovation and characteristic of innovation of STFs.In sucession, on base of the analysis on the current cirumstance of technological innovation of STFs, the author summarizes sixteen points that hinder technological innovation of STFs. The last part of the dissertation give some suggestions accordingly.As the most active colony for innovation in the development of new and high-tech industries, STFs in China will become an essential force to enhance he nation's economic competitive power and a foundation for a sustainable growth of the economy. Furthermore, they are essential to the upgrading and optimization of the industrial structure. With the great attention paid by our society, expert and scholar to the technological innovation of STFs, it is believed that the theory fit for our STFs will become more and more wholesome, which then can not only help to upgrade the technological level of our country and realize sustainable development but also isbeneficial to the development of our national economy in the worldwide economy and is beneficial to enhance the status of our enterprised in the international competition.
