The Study Of Setting Up Sub-branches Of Bank Of Communications In The Same City

This thesis took bank of communications setting up sub-branches in the same city as the as the research object. The author made every effort to combine own working practice and put forward some suggestion from different aspects for the setting up sub-branches of bank of communications in the same city. It was hoped, through the author's own research, to be beneficial for the integration of the resources and overall arrangement of banking institution, be helpful for the supervision department to play supervision guidance function of the integration of the resources of organization and enlightening for the construction of the new developing commercial bank sub-branches, thus promoting the change of the sub-branches of domestic commercial banks towards a multi-channel networked service mode direction.This thesis is divided into 5chapters altogether. The author mainly from the following respects to probe into the question of setting up sub-branches of bank of communications within the same city; the brief account of setting up sub-branches in the same city, the planning of sub-branches in the same city, the establishment of organizations within the sub-branches in the same city, the planning strategies for the images of sub-branches in the same city and the development trend of sub-branches of bank of communications in the future—the virtual sub-branches.Chapter one is the brief account of setting up sub-branches of bank of communications in the same city—summarizes the definition and classification of sub-branches of bank of communications in the same city. On the basis of the concept of sub-branches in the same city stipulated by the people's bank of China, the author put forward the category of regarding fictitious bank as the study of sub-branches of bank of communications, introduced the understanding to the concept of community's finance, and suggested make serious study on them. Then the author exposed the situation of setting up sub-branches of bank of communications in the same city, introduced the historical reform of sub-branches of bank of communications and historical principles of establishment of sub-branches in accordance with "market orientation, appropriate scale of operation, business accounting and business development of the market need". But with the constant development of market economy the author pointed out that the idea and practice of setting up sub-branches of bank of communications are more and more inconformity with the constantly changeable management environment, mainly displaying lagging behind western commercial banks in management, having not totally got rid of the influence of planned economy; lacking the overall arrangement; disregarding the cost and expanding blindly; and lacking market orientation and other several respects. It is these reasons that restrict the sound development of sub-branches of bank of communications.Chapter two discussed the questions of planning sub-branches of bank of communications in the same city. The author defined that the planning of sub-branches of bank of communications should regard setting up amplify unified, open, competitive, orderly financial market system as the goal, regarding profit as the center customers as the starting point, taking optimizing the overall arrangement of the market and adjusting the market structure as the thread, and should combine the planning of urban economy with the role of market mechanism; and well handle the relations between new-type sub-branches and traditional sub-branches, large sub-branches and small sub-branches in order to gradually form well arranged, perfect functioned and intact systematic layout of sub-branches. The author also pointed out that the setting up sub-branches of bank of communications should follow 5 principles, such as cost accounting, overall arrangement, market demanding, according with policy of supervising and the goal market, and took these as principles for looking for the goal of market and carrying on the sub-branches selections.
