Study On Sector Interest Bias In Local Legislation And Its Control Strategy

Local legislation is a component of our legal system. The quality of local legislation has an immediate bearing on the local political, economical and social development. Currently, an outstanding phenomenon in local lawmaking is the sector interest bias. The inclination towards certain sector interest in local lawmaking damages the unity of legal system, hinders the development of socialist market economy, lowers the legislative and administrative efficiency and violates the just rights of citizens, corporates and other organizations, generates corruption. How to efficiently curb the inclination towards sector interest in local lawmaking has become a hotspot question people are greatly concerned with. It is also a imperious research subject facing the legislators. My research focuses on the forms and reasons of sector interest biasing in local legislation and explores methods and measures to contain sector interest biasing efficiently. I believe my research will be beneficial to overcome the trend of sector interest biasing in local legislation.
