The Study On The Pricing Of Chinese Exporting Goods To Answer Foreign Anti-dumping Against China

As a sensitive topic in international trade and politics, dumping/antidumping has also been a puzzling problem for Chinese exporting enterprises. Since 1979, Chinese exporting goods had been suffering from antidumping petition. After China's entry into WTO, accompanying the further development of foreign trade and the improvement in product competition, the antidumping petition against Chinese exporting goods has become even stronger, some key exporting markets keep shrinking thus resulting the benefits lose, production stop and workers lay off in related industries. Antidumping petition against China has been a tough issue facing our exporting enterprises.Put aside the discussion of trading policy, laws and regulations, cutting-in from exporting price point, proceeding with industrial management and state policy, this paper analyzes and discusses foreign antidumping activity from economics and management's point of view, trying to amend current pricing strategy to avoid foreign antidumping petition radically and protect our exporting economy from unreasonable harm from foreign competitors.First, we analyze the background and the reason of foreign antidumping petition against Chinese goods and our enterprises' answering experiences and lessons. Then we point out that current antidumping situation has much to do with the independent low pricing strategy of our exporting goods. And we also demonstrate the mis-judge of our reasonable low price to be dumping from reality. As a result, we have to find more effective pricing strategy. As the same time, we find out that the real reason of low price competition lies in the lack of effective supply in the whole industry, therefore, the ultimate way to solve low price competition is to increase effective supply while eliminating the ineffective one.As a temporary strategy, we bring out new pricing method in chapter 4 to relieve low price competition and antidumping pressure. Later in chapter 5, a discussion is made about how to realize the new pricing method by improving industrial association's role in industrial price management. Also, we emphasize association's role in industrial development control in order to balance supply and need to solve the low price competition radically, then the problem of foreign antidumping petition can be avoided.
