A Selection Model Research Of The Third-Party Logistics Vendors

With the development of economics, the third-party logistics plays a disreplaceable role during an enterprise's competition, but whether the function can be achieved depends on the ability and level of the third-party logistics vendors. So it's critical for an enterprise's successful outsourcing to choose them appropriately. But now, the current evaluation index system and selection methods are very limited, so it is an urgent problem to establish a valid evaluation index system and selection model for selecting the appropriate third-party logistics vendor.This paper, through researching the relational situation, establishes a set of new evaluation index system, and on the basis of it, uses the methods of Set Pair Analysis(SPA),Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) and Entropy Coefficients to establishes a selection model which can evaluates the optional logistics vendors synthetically, and proves its possibility by a case finally. It can provide a set of objective standard and method for enterprise selecting its third-party logistics vendors.
