Study On The Development Of Agricultural Industrialization In Weifang, Shandong Province

Agricultural industrialization, following the household contract responsibility system, is another important innovation to our state agricultural management system. As a new form of management and organization, it is an important strategic action to the development of agriculture and rural economy in the new stage and is also an effective approach to realizing agriculture modernization. At present, agricultural industrialization has grown vigorously; it has shown extensive adaptability and strong vitality all over the country. However, the scale and level of agricultural industrialization are still in primary stage, some problems and restriction factors existing. Agricultural industrialization in Weifang, Shandong province began earlier than in other areas in our country. During the course of developing agricultural industrialization, a lot of new experiences and ripe methods were created: having formed diversified development models, such as leading enterprises' driving, market driving, leading industry's driving, intermediary's driving, international vegetables fair, etc. perfecting agricultural industrialization operating mechanism constantly by focusing on distribution of profit, and following the economic law of the market and fulfilling government macro-regulating function scientifically, have created good external environment for agricultural industrialization. After ten years of development, brilliant achievements were gained in Weifang's agriculture and rural economy. Through the combination of standardization research and positive research, this article tries to summarize successive experience of agriculture industrialization in Weifang; By anatomizing typical examples and analogy analysis, this paper reviews the origin, developing models and relative problems of agriculture industrialization. This article exposes how to understand industrialization of agriculture in high level, gives its new ideas continuously in order to improve the whole quality and competitiveness, to speed up modernization of our state agriculture in the background with the difficulty in increasing farmers' income and quickly spread of economy globalization.
