Reserve Research In The Power Market Environment

In the power market environment, how to determine the capacity of reserve, and how to buy reserve has been a hot problem. In order to found a fair, reasonable mechanism of reserve price, at first, in this paper, based on the classifying of reserve, qualitative analysis has been made on every reserve, and computing method and formula has been given partially, in the same time the parameter of expected using time has been introduced;secondly,factors affecting the reserve capacity and the source of reserve capacity in the power market environment have been analyzed, and based on the comparing of several common methods which are used to determine the capacity of reserve, method of probability-based with users participating in has been proposed, this is a new way to determine reserve capacity; at last, a reserve model based PAB has been proposed,this mothod may prevent the common problem of price reversion in the reserve market effectively. The computation example demonstrated that it makes the bidding cost equal to the social cost.
